Ìssvindr means ice winds in Old Norse.
This is an original painting by Jonna Jinton.
It’s painted with homemade earth pigments and acrylic ink on a cotton canvas.
The natural pigments are made of ashes and charcoal from our firestove, with wood from trees grown in this area.
It’s also white quartz stones and limestones.
Because of the earth pigments, the painting has a very distinct and eye-catching structure.
Size: 100 x 70 cm (39,3″ x 28,5″)
The painting is framed in a black wooden frame made of Swedish pine tree.
It’s also varnished and UV protected.
A certificate of authenticity comes with the painting.

EDIT: Here in Sweden we entered “Wintertime” today Oct 25 which means that we changed time from UTC +2 to +1. Since the ending time is suppose to be 10 PM I had to manually change the time zone for this site, but realized it messed up the bid-history because of the time change. (The highest bid in this moment is now further down in the biddin history) I then had to change back to UTC +2, and this auction will end 9 PM (Swedish time). The count down timer shows the right time. So sorry for any confusion!
