When a painting is up for auction it will be available for everyone to bid.
If it’s your first time to make a bid, you will be asked to create an account before you can place your bid.
When the auction time is over the person who placed the last and highest bid will win the auction. An email will be sent to the winner with payment details.
The painting will then be packed and shipped. We will keep contact with the winner during this process, to keep the winner updated on what delivery method will be used and how the packaged can be tracked during the shipping time.

Remember to only place a bid if you are willing to pay that amount in case you win the auction. It’s about respect for the other bidders, and for the owner.
Proxy bidding is an option for you as a bidder to set your maximum price/bid that you are willing to pay for the item, and then allow the computer system to bid for you by the bid increasement until someone places a higher bid than your maximum. In that way you can just bid your maximum and let the system do the rest.
For example, if a the current bid is on $100, and you want to place a bid, you can put a bid with the maxium price you are willing to pay, for example $500.
Then the system will automatically bid on your behalf up to your maximum. They will always endeavour to secure the property for you, either at or below your maximum bid if possible.
It’s a good way to use if you don’t have time to keep an eye on the bidding in the last hours of the auction. You can relax and know that your bidding will be done automatically.

I use both acrylic paints and also my own handmade natural earth pigment paint.
